Crescent Helicopters supplies High and Low Skid Gear for the JetRanger and OH-58 as economical replacements for damaged or worn skid gear components. Skid tube assemblies are equipped with one-piece forged saddles, front and rear, for durability and ease of assembly.
Crosstubes feature the latest clamp-on stainless steel wear pads with an exclusive anti-corrosion and anti-chafe coating. High Skid Gear can be purchased as a complete kit, including the Flitestep®, as a replacement for standard skid gear. High Skid Gear and Low Skid Gear components can be ordered separately as needed and are fully compatiable with factory installed parts.
On JetRangers, certification includes crosstubes for Pan-Style Pop-Out Float Kits and skid tubes and crosstubes for Lightweight Pop-Out Float Kits.

The Bell LongRanger Lightweight Emergency Float Kit is available for Model 206L, L1 and L3 series helicopters. The kit includes landing gear, float bags, composite cylinder and a complete electrical installation. An electrical solenoid valave is provided rather than an explosive squib to reduce down time and maintenance cost. Each kit includes all hardware, decals and complete instructions necessary for installation. |
