For those who expect excellence, only the Bell 430 can live up to your expectations. And then some. It epitomizes excellence in every aspect and detail; sleek, aerodynamic design. Excellent value, Low life-cycle costs. Incredible comfort and a smooth, quiet ride. Performance and reliability. Quite simply, the Bell 430 is the best intermediate twin in the skies today.

Whether it's carrying corporate executives across congested cityscapes or transporting Search & Rescue teams to remote areas, the outstanding versatility of the Bell 430 performs each task as if it was built for it. And it was. Precisely what you'd expect from Bell, the most experienced helicopter manufacturer in the world. And only Bell, with the most dedicated customer support organization in the industry, can help you maximize your investment decision.

Because only Bell can deliver the 430. Extraordinary excellence in a class by itself. The spacious cabin of the 430 was clearly designed with passenger comfort in mind. With ample headroom and leg room to easily accommodate six executives, this intermediate twin serves the corporate world with distinction.

Crafted for the discriminating few who understand the subtle differences between merely getting there and arriving, the 430 offers much more than any conventional helicopter. Step inside. Discover why no other aircraft on the market today delivers its passengers quite like the Bell 430 does.

Surrounded by luxurious options, your journey will always be a delightful and relaxing experience. With a choice of plush interiors, including hand-stitched leather recliners and deep pile carpet in soft, subtle colors - outside distractions, noise and vibration become almost imperceptible.

Every aspect of the 430 has been crafted to provide you with the ultimate flying experience. A wireless, infrared sound system surrounds you with soft music. A limousine privacy window separates you from the cockpit, as electronic shades block the sun's glare at the mere touch of a button, and an air phone communications system is at your side. Soft reading light gently glows from overhead, while handsome hand-rubbed wood entertainment and refreshment center is available to pamper you and your guests.

Yet, beyond all the luxury, safety and performance prevail. Its sophisticated instrumentation, superior handling and low life-cycle costs effectively prove you really can have it all! With the Bell 430 you arrive with the quiet confidence that it's the best value on the market today. Beneath its sleek, aerodynamic design and time-test airframe, the Bell 430 is really a workhorse. The improvements and innovations that have gone into the magnificent aircraft are much more than simply cosmetic. Designed to be adaptable, this intermediate twins outperforms all others in its class. The versatile and adaptable 430 easily fulfills the complex demands for a multitude of mission requirements.

From traveling over rough terrain to delivering utility teams to remote power lines, to transporting crew and equipment to offshore oil rigs, carrying Search & Rescue teams to remote spots or delivering emergency medical teams and their patients to hospitals and medical facilities, the Bell 430 is capable of handling it all. On addition, rotor and transmission vibrations are isolated from the cabin, allowing for a smooth ride and comfortable working environment for all flight regimes.

When it come to performance, the 430 is unsurpassed in its category. This exciting new helicopter offers leading edge technology with standard features such as the Full Authority Digital Electronic Control [FADEC] which delivers state-of-the-art power management. Maintaining optimum engine performance from startup to shutdown, the FADEC system provides extraordinary single-engine performance while extending engine life and dramatically reducing operating expenses. The all-new, four-bladed, bearingless rotor further enhances performance. Based on decades of research, this all-composite rotor also eliminates many moving parts, further reducing maintenance demands.

Safety is always a standard feature when Bell designs an aircraft. That's why the 430 is the only four-bladed helicopter in its class to offer collective-mounted throttles, energy-absorbing crew seats and rupture-resistant fuel cells that incorporate break-away fuel fittings and flexible fuel lines as standard equipment.

Other Exclusive Bell 430 Features Include:

The Lowest Overall Operating Costs In Its Class-
The Bell 430 offers cost-efficient performance, no matter what your mission mandates.

Superior Single-Engine Performance-
Powered by two Allison 250-C40 turbine engines, the Bell 430 offers superior Category A performance.

Notice the streamline instrument panel. State-of-the-art technology enables this ergonomically improved design to replace several instruments and gauges, thereby lowering the top of the panel by three inches. As a result, the flight crew experiences increased forward visibility, as well as improved accessibility and maintainability. All control panels are made with a special area reserved for customizing. Mounted in a basic "T" arrangement, those instruments in the center of the panel are front mounted. The glare-shield is reserved for such high priority items as: Master Caution/Warning, Engine Out, RPM, and Fire Panel. The overhead panel and pedestal retain their customary functions.

The Integrated Instrument Display System [IIDS], located in the center-right area of the center panel, provides the instrumentation which displays five pages that define flight, engine and aircraft systems. An integrated caution and warning light system is prominently displayed at the top of each screen. When a caution or warning light illuminates, it indicates when a fault occurs and alerts the flight crew to select the appropriate page for further definition of the problem. The flight crew may scroll through the pages to further define the malfunction in seconds. Control switches for scrolling the pages are conveniently located below the screen and the collective.

When challenging missions require greater flight instrument readability, the flexible 430 offers Electronic Flight Instrumentation System [EFIS] at both crew stations. Perfect for missions that call for flying in adverse environments, EFIS technology provides color displays, sensor sources and navigation mapping capabilities.
